Here you can hire a crew: navigator, gunner, first mate and boatswain. Naval battles allow you to board an enemy ship, subsequently sink it, or join your fleet. The experience of the personnel affects the characteristics of the ship: the accuracy of the guns, the speed of the ship, morale, etc. Depending on the style of passage, the main character receives the title: thunder of the seas, noble knight, ordinary sailor or petty swindler. Reputation affects how others treat the hero. Some quests may be beyond the reach of a "good" sailor, just as some "noble" deeds are beyond the reach of a pirate. There is a global map that shows schematic representations of all accessible islands and weather patterns. It allows you to quickly move between islands. If a storm or enemy is encountered along the way, the game switches to standard naval mode. There are eight major archipelagos. Factions are represented by 5 countries: England, France, Holland, Spain and Portugal.
