Mount and Blade: With Fire and Sword

Mount and Blade: With Fire and Sword is an official addition to the original game, which was worked on by programmers from three studios, including both Ukrainian and Russian developers. This addon adds a new storyline and moves the action to medieval Eastern and Northern Europe of the 17th century, where there is an atmosphere of distrust of neighbors and constant skirmishes over fortified settlements. Because of this, the modification complements fortress sieges with the ability to blow up a wall or poison drinking water for a faster victory over the fortress owners. The plot of Mount & Blade: With Fire & Sword has 3 different story branches, for example, the uprising of Stepan Razin or the war between Sweden and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. 5 real states with different initial scenarios are presented: • Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth – is at war with the Ukrainian Cossacks and has tense relations with Sweden. • Muscovy – the people are very dissatisfied with the low standard of living due to the reforms carried out. This may cause unrest in villages and fortresses. • Zaporozhian Army - they are waging a war for independence from Rech and Muscovy. • Kingdom of Sweden – has views of the territory of modern Poland. • The Crimean Khanate has a very strong economy, as a result of which the army is one of the strongest. They are hostile to their neighbors on the map – the Ukrainians. The supply of weapons has also undergone enormous changes. The first firearms appeared that had a long reload time, which made the fighter vulnerable in this process. All weapons are divided into 7 types: bladed (broadswords, sabers, scimitars), crushing (hunters, maces), chopping (axes, halberds), polearms (pikes, spears), firearms (carbines, muskets, pistols), bows and throwing daggers. Another innovation of the “Fire and Sword” modification is the ability to become the king of any state as a result of a coup d’etat during the civil war.
