Sons of The Forest

Sons of The Forest is a first-person horror game with survival elements and a continuation of the acclaimed The Forest.. The plot revolves around a soldier who goes into a mysterious forest in search of a missing billionaire and his family, and finds there many more questions than answers. The plot is presented through notes, audio diaries and meetings, from which a picture of the experiment is gradually assembled. The island is inhabited by bloodthirsty monsters and tribes, so survival begins with building a shelter and observing the surroundings. Seasons change the world, rain and cold remind you of themselves, and rare allies like Kelvin's companion help in ordinary matters, although he also needs an eye. You can build both on land and on water, and some shelters have to be protected with walls and traps. Tools and buildings are made from improvised materials: ropes, sticks, stones and parts from equipment are used, and traps are placed so that an uninvited guest gets an unpleasant surprise. Caves hold clues, and it’s better to go there with a torch and a weapon. Weapons and equipment are obtained from boxes and broken equipment, and some of the finds provide access to closed places. You can play alone or with friends, dividing responsibilities between a builder, a hunter and a scout. Multi-person co-op makes survival a fun and scary ride with constant screaming in the chat. The different endings show the story from multiple angles, leaving you with a lot to think about after the credits roll. For those players who love crafting, dark secrets and night forays, this forest will remain in the memory for a long time.
