Across the Obelisk

Across the Obelisk is a cooperative deck-building RPG. Players assemble a squad of characters, each with their own set of cards and skills, and together they form a team capable of fighting long battles against monsters and bosses. Battles take place step-by-step, and the order of moves is important here: timely protection, correctly chosen target and competent distribution of energy decide more than the strength of an individual card. As the journey progresses, new items and cards are found, which means that tactics are constantly changing. You can play alone or together up to four people, and the cooperative is not a decoration here: without coordination of actions, the squad quickly falls apart. The branching route map allows you to choose which events to go to - treasures, merchants or additional battles. It is also worth noting that there are up to four heroes in a squad, and each has their own deck, so the total set of cards turns out to be very large. The route is divided into nodes with a choice: you can go to the merchant, or you can turn to a rare treasure and get an additional fight. The race is long, but it can be interrupted and continued later, which is important for cooperative games. It is also worth noting that there are many heroes with different decks in the game, and their combinations provide completely different experiences: in some places the squad works through defense, in others through healing and area damage. The project is designed for long runs and a thoughtful approach.
