The events of Company of Heroes 2 unfold before us in snowy Norilsk, where one of the largest Stalinist gulags is located. NKVD officer Churkin comes here, who understands that he will not survive the next Stalinist purge of officers. In the Gulag he finds his comrade from the front, who is serving his sentence and preparing to be shot. Isakovich is the name of the character; he wrote a tome with the real actions of the commanders of the Red Army, for which he was sentenced to death. Churkin decides to find out the whole truth about what happened in the war, and Isakovich begins to tell, explaining each event in a non-linear sequence one after another in the form of a battle on a strategic map. The real actions of people during the siege of Leningrad, the actions of Soviet commanders and officers, as well as the participation of traitors in the first hand of governing the country are shown. The game also fully reveals the Battle of Berlin, the feat of the soldiers who captured the Tiger tank for study, and many other facts that are difficult to learn about in history books. In the strategic direction, we will be able to hire more than 20 units of infantry and 10 units of heavy equipment, about 10 guns and 20 units of equipment and transport points. Our base is where we started the game. Entire squads of soldiers will be led by officers who will report to you until the mission goes beyond the story campaign.
