Rise of Nations: Extended Edition

Rise of Nations: Extended Edition is a special edition real-time strategy game released back in 2004. The talented employees of Big Huge Games worked tirelessly on the creation. This updated edition comes just a full decade after the official release of the original version. Here we have an expansion to the earlier Rise of Nations that launches without the main title being present. Thus, this product can be considered as a self-contained unit that can be played as a completely separate and independent project. Luckily, it offers us a huge number of nations to choose from, including the United States of America, the Bantu, the Aztecs, the British, the Dutch, the Egyptians, the Chinese, the French, the Russians, the Mongols, the Nubians, the Romans, the Spanish, the Turks and many more. Each of these faction nations has its own exceptional characteristics, which, all other things being equal, can provide the player with victory in certain situations. You need to know the strengths of each of these peoples in order to use them correctly in case of urgent need. There is no need for a foolish frontal attack if your faction's strength lies in diplomatic subterfuge. Or there will be little point in trying to outwit the French who ate the dog in this matter. Each nation has its own advantages: the Mayans have their own architecture, the Mongols have their own horde, the Chinese have their own traditions, and so on. As a result, we have a full-fledged real-time strategy, company mode and multiplayer, a huge selection of factions and unusual game mechanics that can surprise even players who are luminaries of the strategy genre.
