CRISIS CORE –FINAL FANTASY VII– REUNION is a remaster, not a full remake. The original was released only on portable consoles in the very early 2000s. And the remade game first appeared on PC more than 15 years later. The developers have significantly improved the graphics, making the project look modern. The visual style has changed a bit. It looks like a more serious and realistic design from FF7 Remake. The creators also worked on the sound quality. The gameplay has changed slightly. The local setting still combines cyberpunk and fantasy. And the plot is still dedicated to a second class soldier named Zach Fair. He works for the Shin-Ra corporation and punishes the enemies of his employers with a huge Buster sword. His story is told through a large number of cut scenes. CRISIS CORE –FINAL FANTASY 7– Reunion is a prequel to the seventh Final Fantasy game. The original video game was aimed more at those who completed the serialized FF7 and expanded its universe. In the re-release, the developers reworked the presentation of the storyline in such a way that it was understandable to both fans and newcomers. The usual "Endgame" was a classic JRPG, and its spin-off was an action role-playing game. The narrative here is divided into chapters, which are divided into missions. There are main and secondary operations. They must be completed in order to upgrade your fighter and get more powerful equipment. Secondary objectives must be manually selected and activated at checkpoints. After this, the hero will be transported to one of the corridor locations. Navigation through them occurs in real time. The battles here also take place in real time. The main character can run in different directions, swing a blade, block or dodge enemy attacks, and also use matter (essentially magic spells). Pressing it starts the DNW counter in the corner of the screen. It's reminiscent of slot machines. When special combinations appear on it, various super moves are activated. Their range increases as you progress.
