Darkwater allows gamers to control a submarine stuck in the ice on an alien planet. This is a cooperative horror game designed for cooperation from 1 to 4 people. Survival involves navigating a hostile environment, encountering enemy ships and underwater life forms, and actively searching for the resources needed to further control the submarine. Success depends on performing the necessary actions to survive under ice conditions. In Darkwater, you'll pilot a custom submersible into the icy depths of another planet's moon, alone or as part of a team. Up to 4 people can form a team to counter the multiple deep-sea threats this project poses. Activities include naval battles with other submarines and docking your own ship at abandoned outposts to search for supplies. The plot is connected with an outbreak of disease on the planet, due to which the authorities froze the surface of the ocean, thereby trapping the team under a layer of ice. Supplies in the underwater world are limited, forcing crews to obtain fuel and move between outposts. It is necessary to find and explore dilapidated underwater complexes on foot, collecting any valuable materials inside these structures. Such excursions are fraught with risk, as teams may encounter a variety of enemies, including infected divers, deep-sea anglerfish, and alien crabs lurking in the ruins. To resolve such situations, an arsenal is available, including sledgehammers, blowtorches, pistols and shotguns; Transporting the fuel canisters back to the submarine requires a coordinated effort.
