Dead Age 2: The Zombie Survival RPG is a team-based survival RPG that combines turn-based combat, management, and tactical mechanics. The plot of the sequel tells a separate story, in no way connected with the previous game. Events take place 10 years after the first zombie attack. Jake's group managed to reach Freedom City, where a serum against the plague was to be developed. But instead of a cure, a real war of factions has formed here: Ruthless military, shadow Smugglers and civilian Independents. The combat system has undergone significant changes and, as the developers themselves describe, is a mixture of Final Fantasy X and Darkest Dungeon. The heroes of Dead Age 2 alternate attacks using melee and ranged weapons. They have about 25 different skills at their disposal. The faction's reputation is present. Increasing your respect level will give you access to trade with certain NPCs or settlements. The player has control over the entire base. You can build your base from scratch and distribute the responsibilities of your residents. Make various items, weapons and armor, collecting useful resources in locations. By increasing your crafting skills, you will be able to create items of improved quality. The huge open world contains more than 80 different settlements and attractions. The plot is non-linear and depending on the decisions made, one of several endings will open. Playstyle also influences the environment, so your actions are directly related to moral decisions and work together. There are a total of 6 different endings available. The gameplay consists of permadeath. If a hero dies, he is out of the game forever.
