The companions have their own characters and their own stories, and their arcs are revealed in separate episodes. Separately, there is crafting, forging and small tasks for which they give rare things. The plot is presented in large scenes, and sometimes events follow another character. Some locations change throughout the story, and this is noticeable when returning to familiar places. The main character's musical theme has become recognizable and is heard even in concert programs.
