Dying Light: The Beast

Dying Light: The Beast returns players to the world of Harran, but the action moves to the countryside of Castor Forest. Whereas the city was densely built with rooftops and destroyed infrastructure, it is now small villages, forested areas and open spaces. The situation is calmer in appearance, but no less dangerous: in open areas there is nowhere to quickly hide. Movement remains the main advantage: running on roofs and fences, jumping and climbing walls allows you to escape from the infected, and during the day you can explore the area almost calmly. When darkness falls, everything changes: at night, fast and aggressive opponents take to the streets, and then the only choice is to run or fight. The plot revolves around Kyle Crane, who once again finds himself at the center of events, and around the experiments that turned him into something more than an ordinary survivor. In addition to the main line, there are plenty of side quests: helping locals, searching for resources and fighting gangs. Separately, it is worth noting that the game has weather conditions and a change of day and night: rain and fog limit visibility, and light helps plan a route along the roofs. Side quests in settlements add the feeling that the world lives without a hero. For the genre, this is a familiar, but well-made set. The game combines everything that the series is loved for: parkour, homemade weapons, night raids and constant tension. For those who appreciate fast-paced survival action, this release expands the familiar world in a new direction - with wilder and less predictable locations.
