Elite Dangerous: Odyssey - the addition takes the pilot out of the ship's cockpit: now you can go to the station, walk along the corridors, look into the bar and take on a task from the locals. Space remains in place, but life on its own two feet is added to it. Tasks are completed from a third person with a weapon in hand. Skirmishes take place in settlements, abandoned objects and inside stations, and the company is made up of other players - together it is easier to cope with the guards and take out the loot. The stations operate around the clock: in some places loading is in progress, in others there are patrols on duty, and you can only get into closed sectors with a pass. Planets have also become more accessible: you can land on the surface, get off the ship and explore the surrounding area on foot, collecting materials and biological samples along the way. Conditions vary day and night, and in some places there is nothing to do without a spacesuit. On some planets, dust storms blow, due to which visibility drops to a couple of meters. Equipment is purchased and upgraded separately from the ship: weapons, armor, hacking tools and a scanner to find useful items. For this you have to return to the stations, trade and hunt for rarities. Before the mission, it’s worth inspecting the arsenal: some of the doors are opened by hacking, not by force, and without the necessary tools you can stagnate for a long time at the terminal. Transport for planetary trips is also useful if there is a long road ahead to the desired point. Contracts pay more if you work with other pilots.
