In the first part of the famous Grand Theft Auto 1, the player will take on the role of a criminal and explore an open world where you can steal cars, perform various tasks and kill people on order. The city is divided into levels. To open a new level, you need to score a certain number of points. The hero has five lives in total. Points in GTA are a monetary amount. You can use the money to buy weapons or upgrade your car, but it's worth keeping in mind that this costs you money - points - which you need to complete. Having collected the required number of points, the player drives up to a point on the map and moves on to the next level. When you're not on a mission, Grand Theft Auto 1's gameplay allows you to steal cars, kill bystanders, vandalize cars, or go exploring. Assignments also involve freedom of action. Points are awarded for various actions: damaging other cars, killing police officers, stealing cars, selling them, etc. The more serious the crime, the more money is awarded. For completing the story mission you will receive 50,000 points. The game features three major cities: Liberty City (New York), San Andreas (San Francisco) and Vice City (Miami). Assignments can be obtained from telephone booths or designated vehicles. Tasks can be very different: bank robbery, shootouts with bandits, chases with the police, etc.
