Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds

Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds is a story-based addition to the main game. Aloy will make a trek to the snowy territory of the Yellowstone Caldera, where the Banuk tribe and demonic machines live. Infected robots walk all over the earth, so even an ordinary trotter can cause trouble, not to mention the ferocious ice fang, which acts as an analogue of a thunderclap. Battles have undergone a significant rebalance, so it is necessary to hit vehicles only in vulnerable places. The heroine has a powerful bow that can be used for close combat, various bombs and a cable launcher that can harpoon a creature and knock it to the ground. Bow charges can be either normal or explosive. New weapons include the Shaman's Staff and the Cryptoshuka. Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds includes an additional mechanic - the destruction of towers that can heal opponents. Local residents have the opportunity to sell new types of armor and equipment, purchased for blue crystals. A skill tree has been introduced, allowing the girl to repair robots, collect resources while riding a creature, disassemble objects and carry a larger supply of shells. Most of the additional tasks were carried over from the main game: clearing camps, collecting collectibles and giraffe towers. In addition, the lands of Yellowstone are available for exploration and contain several ancient temples, the secrets of which must be unraveled through various puzzles. In total, the addon contains about 10 hours of gameplay, a number of new skills, weapons, challenges and 3 unique robots.
