In I Am Fish, users take on the role of a fish that has been separated from its brethren and taken to the store. To get out of this limited space and reunite with relatives, the main character has to go through a difficult path. Therefore, depending on the circumstances in which the gamer finds himself, he will have to use available items to get out of the situation. Since the main character of I Am Fish is a fish, he spends most of his time in the water. This can be either a pond separated by holes in the ground or a small aquarium filled to capacity. The essence is always the same - you need to get to the key point along a pre-planned route. Transportation method may vary. For example, if the character is in an aquarium, he will have to roll it along the ground, using objects located on the locations to adjust the speed and direction. If the location has access to bodies of water, the fish will move between them, making long jumps. If the character does not reach the pond, the game will end and resume at the last checkpoint. At the same time, areas with water can be located in a variety of places: from beds and mud pits to roofs of houses and canopies for food stalls. One way or another, the gamer needs to move in such a way as not to leave a favorable environment.
