Last Evil is a card strategy about a demon girl who makes her way through dungeons and gathers a squad. The battle takes place in turns, and the cards are divided into attacks, defenses and tricks. Victories yield new cards and artifacts, so each mission is rebuilt from scratch. Enemies differ in their elements, and they require your own approach. Some of the opponents can be subdued, and then they fight on the side of the heroine. The setting is drawn in a vivid style, and the characters are presented in large-scale. Between fights there are short scenes that explain why the heroine needs to go deeper and deeper. Some episodes are intended for adults. Saving is possible between levels, and the difficulty increases gradually. The passage is designed for several races. In addition to combat, there are short choice events that affect the composition of the deck. Artifacts provide passive bonuses and sometimes change the rules of battle. Some maps open only after defeating local bosses. The decor is bright and the music is upbeat. The walkthrough is designed for repeated runs with new builds. It’s worth mentioning separately about balance: strong cards require resources, so the deck is built with reserves in mind. Some events change the rules for one battle, and this is noticeable as it progresses. Additionally, portraits and a gallery are opened. In addition to battles, there are short challenges with special rules. Between levels you can change the deck, and some of the cards remain for the next race.
