Ice Age 3: Age of the Dinosaurs is an arcade game developed based on the animated film Ice Age 3: Age of the Dinosaurs. The plot of the game follows the original film. The plot centers on Sid the sloth and Diego the saber-tooth. They tell baby mammoth Peach a bedtime story based on their recent adventures. The Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs campaign consists of 19 episodes and an epilogue: "Sid's Awakening", "Scratty the Nut", "Buck to the Rescue", "Root of Evil", "Night Owls", "Flight of the Pterodactyl", "Skeleton Bridge" and other chapters. The main characters will visit two worlds: Glacial and Dinosaur. The campaign ends with the phrase "good night", indicating that the heroes' adventure has come to an end. Depending on the episode, you'll play as different characters including Sid, Manny, Diego, Buck, Scratty, and Scratty. Each hero has unique abilities and the gameplay varies. The first seven chapters must be completed as a sloth. Sid can jump, double jump and punch with his paws. You will also go through areas where you need to light the path with a torch, burning obstacles along the way. You will play as Manny for a while. It fights with its tusks, torso and front legs. Gameplay for Diego is available only in one level - “Chase”. The tiger jumps and turns sharply. The game as Buck is the second longest after Sid. He is able to jump high and fight with a whip. Gameplay for squirrels is similar. They make double jumps, dive, push stones, etc. The heroes will fight with beavers, mole hedgehogs, spiders, condors, pachycephalosaurs, pterosaurs, etc. During the passage you will meet 7 bosses, who are distinguished by increased health and powerful attacks. The leaders are Bee Hive, Ankylosaurus, Carnivorous Plant, Triceratops, Iguanodon, Kentrosaurus and Rudy.
