Lego The Hobbit is an adventure in the familiar and beloved Lord of the Ring universe. This story is a prequel to both the Lord of the Rings Lego game and the original film trilogy. Uses content from the first two parts of The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey and The Desolation of Smaug. The gameplay component is standard for a series of construction games. The difference is that the world is borderless and open, allowing you to explore it in any order rather than wandering through endless linear corridors. On the team's path, they will constantly encounter puzzles related to the inability to go further due to a collapsed bridge or blockage.
