Let's Park Backyard Edition

Let's Park Backyard Edition is a parking simulator, but instead of asphalt and marking cones, there is a backyard. Race by race, the player learns to squeeze the car into places where there seems to be no room at all: between a fence and a barn, against a wall, on a narrow area. The technique is mastered gradually: first, simple spaces and wide corners, then long trailers, reversing turns and parking, where an error of half a meter means a dent. Behind the wheel is an older car with a seventies character, so the acceleration is smooth, the brakes are imprecise, and the mirrors take some getting used to. There are forty levels in total, and the difficulty increases along with the density of obstacles. The controls are simple, but stubborn: gas, brake, steering wheel - and that’s it. Victory depends on how well the player feels the dimensions and knows how to work at low speed. Haste is punishable here: you arrived quickly and broke the bumper - the race will have to start again. Separately, it is worth noting that the tasks differ in type: somewhere you need to stand parallel to the fence, somewhere you need to drive into a narrow passage in reverse without hitting the wall. The score depends on accuracy - you can pass the level with a couple of scratches, or you can pass it cleanly, and you can feel the difference. There is also a time limit, so you won’t be able to think about every move. This is a project for the patient. If you like to perfect a maneuver and get the satisfaction of completing a difficult race cleanly, the Let's Park Backyard Edition's humor and simple graphics won't hurt. After a dozen levels you realize that turning backwards is no longer so scary.
