The sequel to the original project will only share a universe with the first part and only one character who appeared in Little Nightmares - the main character named Six. Now the boy Mono becomes the new main character, and the former virtual protégé is controlled by artificial intelligence. Mono, along with Six, goes on a journey through the City, which has become the main location of the single-player campaign, to guide the girl to the Signal Tower, which is in the power of an unknown man. In addition to the city levels, the game invites the gamer to visit the School and the Forest, where various tasks and puzzles will be offered that block further passage. Making his way through the difficulties created by the developers, the gamer will delve deeper into the plot thanks to video inserts and cut scenes.
