Love n Life: Lucky Teacher

Love n Life: Lucky Teacher takes the hero, a former space industry specialist, to a school in a quaint town. He had to change his profession due to circumstances, and now instead of calculations and technology, students, colleagues and school everyday life await him. The story unfolds slowly: lessons, conversations, acquaintances. The main thing here is relationships: there are several women with different characters around, and how the hero behaves determines which lines will develop. Decisions do not have an immediate effect, but with a delay, and this adds interest to the dialogues. Format: visual novel with illustrations and saves. Some scenes are intended for an adult audience, and this is stated explicitly. Between chapters there are simple tasks related to school life. It is also worth noting that the decision is not made immediately, but after several days of play, and this feels right: apparently, initially the hero did not intend to teach at all. Lessons are presented as background, and the main attention is given to the people around and how relationships develop. This placement of emphasis is fair for a project that does not pretend to be a profession simulator. It’s worth adding that the game also includes small everyday tasks related to the town: shopping, traveling, helping locals. They are not required, but they provide a reason to see the area and meet the residents who appear later in the story. This approach makes the story denser than just a series of conversations around the school. There is no serious teaching simulator here, and there is no need: this is a story about how a person settles in a new place, and about the people he meets there.
