Vito Scaletta, who has become a cult figure in the mafia world, returns to his native Empire Bay during the Second World War. Waiting for him here is his friend Joe Barbara, who got him involved in a scam several years ago. Vito had a choice: either prison or war. Returning, Joe makes sure that Vito is no longer at the front, and then sends him to his family, promising to “give him a life in heaven.” The modern re-release of the second part of “Mafia” in 2020 allows you to relive the deadly adventures of your favorite protagonist. The only negative of Mafia 2 is the linear plot, which we cannot influence in any way, but players do not complain about this, because a real in-depth story about the mafia is not told so often, and you can find out what is going on in the largest crime syndicates, having taken the first part in the affairs of the “family”, simply by starting the game. The shooter has more than 15 chapters, each of which tells a new story about Vito Scaletta. The time frame of the game is 1942-1954. The main character will kill, deal with the Chinese mafia, save friends, judge women and “solve” the problems of the criminal world not with conversations, but with shots and parting words. The entire gameplay is based on the familiar third-person shooter. The hero can change clothes, steal new cars, change license plates, install a different engine and drive around the city, killing or helping civilians. The core of Mafia 2 is history. Everything revolves around the fact that the main character will eventually be accepted into the family. He encounters the leaders of the three largest groups in the world of the game, helps the consigliere of one of them escape, fights the “feds” and even kills two mafia leaders. Action scenes and a dramatic ending are guaranteed. Joe was not involved in the deal.
