Magicka

Magicka is a cooperative adventure game where up to four players can play through the campaign simultaneously. The development was carried out by the Swedish studio Arrowhead Game Studios, responsible for the creation of Helldivers and Gauntlet. Events take place in a fantasy world inspired by German-Scandinavian myths. The plot centers on a mysterious order whose task is to capture an evil wizard who is trying to plunge the world into chaos. Players will be able to team up in a group of up to four people to go save humanity. They will have to make their way through a brutal jungle consisting of 13 levels, along the way using various spells that sow destruction and panic from the forces of darkness. The gameplay does not divide characters into classes. All party members fight with the help of a magic staff, as well as edged weapons, some of which reach the point of complete absurdity. For example, there is Excalibur, encased in stone. But instead of pulling it out, the heroes use it as a hammer. There is also an M60 machine gun, generously distributed to the main characters for successfully completing the mission. The magic system is deep and thoughtful. There are 8 elements to choose from: Water, Cold, Lightning, Earth, Fire, Shield, Life and Death. Each of them can be combined, but it is worth considering that Shield with Shield will not work, and the combination of Cold and Fire will not give anything. Here you will have to apply simple logic. Magicka contains a huge amount of satire and makes fun of many genre clichés.
