Mirror 2: Project X

Mirror 2: Project X follows the adventures of Naoto, an employee of the FBIO, a bureau dedicated to research and conservation. His work is associated with mystical manifestations and otherworldly creatures that sometimes appear in the human world. The FBI deals with cases that regular services prefer not to notice, and the bureau has its own rules and internal conflicts. Naoto has to navigate between his superiors and personal motives. The plot begins with a story about a Demon that has taken possession of the body of one of the girls. Understanding the circumstances, the hero encounters phenomena that cannot be explained by the usual rules, and gradually learns more about his own organization. The demon from the first story is not the only problem: other entities and circumstances related to the hero’s past gradually emerge. Some details are revealed only by careful reading of the documents. The main part of the game is structured like a puzzle with elements of a visual novel: you need to collect clues, match details and make decisions that affect the course of the story. Dialogues and scenes are presented with an eye to mystical themes. Dialogues offer possible answers, and choices sometimes affect access to scenes and endings. Individual interface elements work as hints if the player is ready to notice them. In addition to the story, there are separate modes and items that are unlocked as you progress, and updates have added new chapters. The community discusses both the plot and technical features of the project. Technical updates and edits have smoothed out the first rough edges of the project, and the community continues to sort out plot hints.
