Night in the Woods

A platformer with a deep plot - Night in the Woods - about the girl May, who returns to her home planet and sees that all people have become creatures endowed with zoomorphic qualities. The girl dropped out of school and now only wants to relax while studying. Chat with friends who no longer care about her. The main character will be able to jump, run, communicate with other characters, and also chase a criminal who, after a short quiet life in the city, kidnaps one of the residents right during Halloween. The fragment when May pursued the criminal to the very outskirts of the city became indicative, but came across a fence that was impossible to climb over. There is no damage to the structure, and she is at a loss: the criminal and the victim are behind the fence, on the hill. After this, we go through several losing missions, where we try to convince the residents that it was a ghost. Nobody believes us, but May manages to gather a squad of old friends and set off to conquer the world in search of old incidents. Now we begin to run away from the figure pursuing us much more often. The controls in Night in the Woods are fully revealed only at a certain moment, when our heroes enter an open clearing, where 12 figures in black cloaks stand. One of them has his leg crushed by a stone, and they decide to punish him for leaving his severed hand in the center of the city.
