The narrative is in the form of a road movie, like Vanishing Point, 2-Pole Highway or Thelma and Louise. Users will drive along highways, participating in high-speed races. You'll have to evade police pursuit, catch up with other racers, or ride through sandstorms. The main task of users in Heading Out is to participate in races by creating their own route. You will face various challenges where the main character is forced to run away from being chased. Gamers will be able to create a character in a special editor, where throughout the game they will have to make responsible choices that will influence the hero’s worldview and views. You will have to explore the map and meet mysterious strangers who are traveling across America. While driving, the gamer needs to monitor the amount of fuel, the condition of the car and the police's interest in the main character. You will have to work out strategic decisions in advance, making different choices. Users will be able to travel into a world where procedurally generated roguelike-style events take place.
