Sands of Aura will take you to a once beautiful and prosperous kingdom buried under a sea of ​​sand. In the open-world adventure game, the user needs to bring the dying Universe back to life by navigating the vast seas of sand, fighting and participating in many adventures, moving through different locations and passing challenges of different difficulty levels, the player receives valuable rewards. The world of Talamkhel remained for a long time under the auspices of one god, who became tired of the constant cataclysms and plunged it into eternal darkness, as a result of which the hourglass of time was destroyed and its contents spilled into a sea of ​​sand that engulfed the entire Universe. Now the ruins of the former civilization remain here, and the inhabitants have turned into cruel warriors of death, but there remains the last hope for salvation in the form of several righteous people, to whom the hero belongs, who have joined the Order of the Knights of the Remnant to protect the surviving people. The character's task is to hunt down evil in its infancy and immediately destroy it. In the process, the main character moves on a ship across sandy seas, making his way across a huge map, fighting with the minions of horror. The locations themselves are full of various secrets and dangers, and there are no marked paths on the map. The virtual universe consists of islands, each of which is full of valuable loot, enemies and useful knowledge that the character acquires in the process. You can travel alone or with a companion, engaging in battles with the inhabitants of Talamkhel - immortal warriors filled with malice. Among the opponents are fallen kings, doomsday cultists, insectoids and other representatives of the merciless undead. Hundreds of weapon options are offered for battles, which the user restores by discovering them among the remains of civilization on his own. Having received the necessary samples, the main character will also be able to use them during battles. In battle, 7 fighting styles are offered, it is possible to use dozens of variations of equipment with varying degrees of protection, as well as magic items, which together allows you to create a strong warrior. The hero's home is considered to be the Star Spire - it is a kind of refuge for the worthy, who also care about his safety. Not everyone can find salvation in this place, but only people with good intentions. In the process, the player will also have to independently decide and influence the fate of the refugees, simultaneously interacting with the characters and restoring the remnants of the world.
