Lies Of P

Lies Of P is a dark Souls-like role-playing game that presents a brutal and dark interpretation of the classic tale of Pinocchio. The story takes place in the Gothic city of Krat during the Belle Époque, which is plagued by a petrification epidemic and an uprising of crazed automatons feeding on Ergo's crystals. The main character, the mechanical puppet P, wakes up at Grand Central Station with no memory of his past or his creator. Hearing the voice of the mysterious Sofia, he sets out in search of Geppetto to uncover the secret of his own “soul” and stop the city’s descent into chaos and madness. Exploring atmospheric locations - ominous ruins, the Carlo Hotel, a majestic cathedral, an opera house, wick factories and catacombs - the hero fights crazed puppets, mutated inhabitants and giant bosses. A combat system like Bloodborne requires precise timing, parrying, and strategic stamina management. Pi has hundreds of weapon combinations at his disposal, created by combining different blades and handles, as well as unique Legion mechanical weapons with modules such as a flamethrower, grappling hook or shield. Combining weapons with powerful "Fable skills" allows the player to choose a personalized fighting style. A special feature of Lies Of P is the lie system and the humanity scale, which affect the development of the plot, the character's abilities and the attitude of the NPC, opening the way to one of three endings. The story's atmosphere and characters are revealed more clearly than in traditional Souls games, providing answers not only through side quests, but also as you progress through the main story.
