Path Of Exile 2 is a continuation of the dark role-playing action game, where the hero again finds himself in a land that survived the disaster. The campaign is longer than before and leads through several acts. The classes have been redesigned: now everyone has their own skills and their own ways to survive. Skill stones are inserted into objects and change their properties, and combinations are assembled for a specific fighting style. Opponents have become more demanding, and bosses occupy separate arenas and require preparation. Inventory and trading work as in previous versions, but with new rules. Skills are divided into active and passive, and together they turn into bundles for a specific style. Weapons are divided by type of damage, and the choice of support depends on this. Bosses give stones and equipment, and between acts you come across cities with merchants. Quests are scattered throughout the maps and reward rare items. Seasons bring new rules and goals. Damage resistance varies among opponents, so keep several sets in your inventory. Chests and card chests are in addition to the regular rewards. Crafting is combined with trade: recipes are bought from craftsmen. Some skills only work in conjunction with others. The game is designed to take a long time to complete. Quests divide the map into zones, and the difficulty increases as you progress. Stone skills work on specific types of damage. Traders change goods after each act. Some dungeons open on high difficulty. The game is designed for long seasons. Inventory is limited, so excess is sold to traders. Some locations are revisited on assignments.
