Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is a re-release of three parts of lawyer simulators combined with adventure games. Here the player will not only defend a person in court, but will also begin to investigate the circumstances of the crime, exploring the place, finding evidence, interrogating witnesses. At the trial, the user will listen to both sides, ask questions, look for contradictions in their words, using found objects. The lawyer will be able to defend himself, even if there is only one piece of evidence of the accused’s innocence, and will also delay time to collect additional information. At the beginning of the passage there are training episodes where you can learn more about the principles of operation. First, the gamer, in the role of defender Phoenix Wright, examines the place where the crime occurred, talks with the detective, looks for clues that no one has noticed, moving the cursor across a static screen. Here you can meet random passers-by who will answer questions and even show you found objects. After completing the study, the game automatically sends the user to the test. The judge must be convinced of the defendant's innocence, and the prosecutor will use all sorts of tricks to interfere with the character's actions: calling strange eyewitnesses, revealing unexamined evidence and manipulating incredible facts. You can respond to such statements and support your version with your own evidence. Witnesses and defendants will play a huge role in court. They will tell their versions of events, and then there will be cross-examination, where the main participants in the trial will answer various questions, the answers to which the character can clarify. This is the most active part of the gameplay, where a real verbal skirmish will begin - the eyewitness says, the lawyer clarifies, the prosecutor turns to the judge with a statement that the question is not relevant to the case, Wright convinces that this is so. There are different cases in the lawyer simulator - some are simple and do not last long, others are more complex and tricky. There are many situations here and they are all very interesting, close to real events, there are even investigations related to spiritualism. In the process, Phoenix will be able to unravel even the most complex cases, where the amazing logic of the criminal will build an unpredictable chain of events.
