Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair is a visual novel with detective elements. It is the second part of the Danganronpa trilogy and the sequel to Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. Hope's Peak Academy student Hajime Hinata attends his first day of school after losing his memory. He opens the door and finds himself and 15 students locked on a desert island. But the director of the academy, the bear Monokuma, seizes the island and dictates his own rules of the game: they can only be saved if they kill another student, and if the killer is discovered, he will die. During the game you need to talk to the characters and give them gifts. Fragments of Hope are given for correctly chosen gifts. After the murder, the investigation mode is activated. To unlock clues, you need to complete mini-games. For example, during the Non-Stop Debate game, you need to shoot orange and blue phrases to get clues.
