PlateUp!

PlateUp! is an arcade restaurant simulator where the kitchen turns into a test of coordination. The player prepares the dishes himself, sets the tables, washes the dishes and makes sure that the guests do not leave dissatisfied. With each wave of clients, there is more work, but the same amount of time. The main feature is that the restaurant not only functions, but develops on certain days: between shifts, new dishes, equipment and room layout are opened. You have to decide what to leave on the map and what to throw away, otherwise the area will run out. This makes each game feel like a little strategy and not just a run around. You can play with friends - over a local network, via the Internet or on the same computer. In a group of people, the bustle turns into real fun: someone fries, someone delivers, and someone shouts that they forgot about the soup. The cooperative is not a decoration here, but the main idea. Separately, it is worth noting that the PlateUp! has automation: over time, it is possible to arrange conveyors and mechanisms that themselves distribute orders and remove dishes. This changes the game from rushing around to planning, where it is more important to lay out the kitchen layout correctly than to run faster. Decorations and drinks are revealed gradually, and their combination determines how the establishment differs from the previous one. It's also worth noting that the restaurant can be rearranged between shifts, which adds another layer of planning on top of the cooking. There is also a single player mode, but it is noticeably more difficult: it is difficult for one person to do everything. But it is in the team that the game unfolds - and usually ends with a friendly “one more run.”
