Quasimorph

You need to figure out the secret that threatens all living things, and at the same time take out everything that is valuable. Contracts are issued by corporations, and each has its own conditions and surprises on site. Forays proceed step by step: fighters move along squares, take turns hitting and opening containers. After a raid, the loot goes to sale or to the workshop, and lost operatives do not return - every mistake costs people. Ammo counts as units, so economy in a raid is just as important as accuracy. The main feature is infection. Every kill of a monster leaves a foreign particle in the fighter, and the more of it, the more he begins to change. Mutations provide advantages, but they drive the character further into an alien nature, so you have to decide how much you can afford. You have to constantly monitor the scale of changes: at the last stages, the fighter ceases to be the same. Between raids, the base lives its own life: hiring new employees, repairing the residential block, trading with factions and preparing equipment. Reputation with corporations affects contracts, and enemies do not stand still while the player assembles a squad. Sometimes it is more profitable to retreat, taking part of the loot, than to try to take everything out and lose the group. The opponents at different objects are different: somewhere people are dug in, somewhere in the corridors there are creatures waiting, which it is better not to let approach. Equipment is upgraded through the workshop, and recipes are bought from merchants or removed from trophies. For those players who love turn-based roguelikes, where every mission could be your last.
