Railroad Corporation is a railway construction simulator in which you have to build your own empire from many freight and passenger tracks. The action takes place in North America in the nineteenth century, and the player masters the road to new lands. Relations with foreign enterprises are being built on friendly terms, our own factories are being built, and residential buildings are being occupied. The stations connect cities and businesses. Forks and depots speed up the turnover of trains. From the very beginning there is little money: this amount is enough for the first station. The train is purchased, the first order is taken, and the cargo is delivered intact for the sake of the first revenue. After several completed assignments, the paths are more fully equipped. Passenger trains bring a stable income. Stations are expanding with increasing freight traffic. For the prosperity of the city, details are taken into account: the cost of clearing the area for the rails, the specified price for transporting goods, the number of trains to fulfill the order and diplomatic relations with other cities. The land for the tracks is purchased from the owners. Workers are hired for each new site. Events are generated randomly. In mountainous areas, a landslide may occur and block all paths: to clear the passage, money and labor will be required. Forests catch fire quite often, and fires need to be extinguished quickly. The empire is built gradually: roads are filled, bridges are placed, factories are installed, contracts with large suppliers and customers are concluded one after another.
