ROMANCE OF THE THREE KINGDOMS XIV is a grand strategy game set in a vast historical setting. The action takes place during the fateful period of the Three Kingdoms for China, when the state was divided into 3 regions - Wu, Wei and Shu. You have to control a large army and capture enemy “rectangles” in order to equip them with their own strongholds to unite the country. The project is conventionally divided into two components - a role-playing system, where it is necessary to develop specialized troops for duels and single skirmishes, and a strategic-economic system, in which it is important to conduct political operations and manage resources. Both mods are equally developed, but in the 14th part of the series, the developers relied on adventures on a global map. Thus, a large number of different opportunities open up for military expansion on enemy territory. Before you start the main campaign, go through the tutorial mode, where you can learn all the basic aspects of the game. And then get acquainted with the innovations, including the presence of automatic combat. This means that in skirmishes a certain scenario of attack or defense is selected in advance, and then, when you press one button, all the assigned actions occur sequentially. Also, all episodes reflect historical events that once took place in Asia. An important place in the game is occupied by special commanders and officers, each of whom has their own skills. Promote officers to leadership positions or make them army generals while fighting against enemy leaders. But, it is often necessary to monitor the flow of resources between settlements, otherwise they will be left without support, which will greatly weaken the region.
