RV There Yet? по сети is a group adventure where friends need to return home from vacation in an old van. The usual route turns out to be blocked, and instead of a smooth road, travelers are faced with remote places where equipment breaks down and communications are lost. The main thing here is interaction. One drives the car, another monitors supplies, the third goes on reconnaissance; if someone falls behind or fails to do their part, the whole group suffers. Conversations and distribution of roles become the same mechanics as repairing a tire or finding fuel. The journey is divided into sections, and each one comes across something different: abandoned stations, broken bridges, strange places where it is better not to go without a flashlight. There is also humor: the developers deliberately play on everyday troubles, familiar to anyone who has ever gone on a long road trip with friends. It is also worth noting that the route does not tell you where to go: you have to navigate using the map, signs and tips from your partners, and this in itself turns into a separate task. There is no penalty for mistakes, but getting stuck in the mud or having a broken engine takes time away from the entire group. These mechanics make the game feel like a long road trip with friends, where the main thing is not the destination, but the road itself. The game is distributed free of charge and is designed for network visits: short sessions, a lot of laughter and constant attempts to get the van out of the next scrape. For those looking for a co-op adventure without a lot of pressure, this is a convenient option.

Установка и запуск:

Игра через: Steam
Для начала нужно распаковать архив из папки Fix Repair в папку с игрой. Если потребуется, соглашаемся на замену файлов.

Как запускать:
1. Запускаем Steam, заходим в свой профиль.
2. Запускаем игру через Ride.exe

Подключение:
Принимаем приглашение от друга.

Создание сервера:
New Game - Start Ride - ESC - Invite Friends - Приглашаем друзей и ожидаем их подключение.

FAQ:

Игра не запускается, ошибки при запуске, что делать?
Ошибка: You are having non-latin characters in your game path, please fix it and restart the game.
Решение: Переместить папку в директорию где нет русских символов или же убрать в нынешней директории все русские символы.

Ошибка: Launch the game with admin's rights.
Решение: Запустите игру от имени администратора.

Если в руководстве Steam-Fix - это означает что этот фикс будет работать исключительно на Steam версии игры (не на GOG и прочих), такое же правило применяется и для других платформ.

Как распаковывать архивы?
Файлы игры запаковываются с помощью архиватора WinRAR, поэтому необходимо иметь его установленным в своей системе. Если у вас при открытии пустой архив или любые другие ошибки - обновите WinRAR до самой последней версии.

Игры по сети распространяются в двух видах:
- Одним архивом;
- Архивом состоящим из n частей. (Каждая часть по 5-15 гб)

В случае первого типа, достаточно просто распаковать архив, во втором случае вам необходимо все части архива поместить в одну папку и начать распаковку исключительно первой части архива, все остальные части подхватятся автоматически (имена архивов должны иметь одинаковое название за исключением .partN).
