Sea of Stars - Valeria and Zale are children of the Solstice who wield the power of Eclipse. They are trained to defend their homeland from creatures created by a powerful alchemist, and the training ends quickly. In addition to battles, there are peaceful episodes where the story is told through conversations. In addition to the main line, there are side quests, and they reveal the history of the world. Turn-based battles are based on combinations: when you press a button at the right time, an ordinary blow turns into an amplified one, and joint techniques of two heroes hit especially hard. Positions and the order of moves also matter, so the battle is in the local traditions, but without unnecessary routine. Puzzles are built into the environment: levers, wind and light reflections. In addition to battles, there are races, trials and simple timed tasks. The world is full of secrets: jumping, climbing, swimming and solving small riddles open passages and hiding places. Much is hidden in places that cannot be reached without skill. Certain areas are open only to those who have solved local mysteries. The order of passage through the regions is not strictly defined, although some of the paths are closed by the plot. The story takes place in the same world as the authors' other famous game, and fans will find familiar references. In addition to the main campaign, there are additional battles and boss missions. Bosses require you to remember the order of attacks and switch techniques in time. The characters' reactions to events vary noticeably, which is a nice touch. Fighters gain new skills as they progress, and builds change as they go. For those who love JRPGs with turn-based combat and a beautiful pixel art style.
