SIGNALIS

Space horror film SIGNALIS is made in anime style. The indie project is a representative of the old school Survival Horror genre. We play as a girl named Elster. She wakes up in a pressure chamber on a ship where something terrible happened. The main character, Replica, is a kind of analogue of an android. She periodically sees visions of others and picks up strange radio signals. She soon realizes that the spaceship crashed on a snowy planet, where there is an abandoned labor camp for the re-education of people. Her goal is to find the missing crew members, regain her memories and understand the dark secrets of this place. The camera here is located on top and is at a slight angle. When interacting with quest items, SIGNALIS shows them in close-up. The graphics are a mixture of low poly 3D and pixel art. The interface is minimalistic. Health status must be checked separately in the inventory. The gameplay here is classic. It consists of solving puzzles, exploring locations and fighting enemies. In the process of exploring the environment, the woman sometimes finds notes that help the player better understand the reason for the bloody events that took place. Instead of the usual first aid kits, the main character uses a repair spray. Her weapons will include a machete, a revolver, a shotgun and several types of pistols.
