Сталкер Gunslinger Mod is a new word in the history of Stalker modding. At their core, these are packs of weapons, with the same storyline and locations as in the game Stalker - Call of Pripyat. But this project is unique and now you will find out why. The developers initially set themselves the goal of doing everything efficiently and at the highest level. They not only replaced the frankly unpleasant and angular models of various weapons with the correct ones, but also did a great job of expanding the existing mechanics. Taking medications, bandaging, using various stimulants and water are fully animated. Depending on the suit, the style of obtaining them also changes; for example, all first aid kits in the exoskeleton are used through the wrist computer. The basic mechanics of the game have been expanded. For example, in the original, the weapon's misfire and wedge simply reproduced the reload animation. Here the developers separately added weapon misfires and jamming, accompanied by animations specific to each type of weapon. Additionally, useful features of many modern shooters have been introduced, such as keyboard shortcuts for throwing a grenade and stabbing with a knife. Some weapons are equipped with a bayonet, which also has a significant effect in close combat. The weapons component is the main pride of the creators. Each weapon is beautifully rendered and wonderfully animated. When switching the fire mode, this is reflected in the model, and when reloading, the presence of a cartridge in the chamber is taken into account. Accordingly, when a weapon jams, an animation of inspecting the weapon and its subsequent wedging is played. The weapon upgrade system has been reworked and there are fewer upgrades, but most of them are believable and are visually reflected on the weapon. For example, when installing a new extended magazine or tactical grip, they will appear on the weapon model and the animation will adapt accordingly. Additional attachments, such as a laser target or a flashlight, are also fully animated and woven into the gameplay. The detectors are also fully animated, and the character has added weapon swing and inertia when moving.
