Sword and Fairy 7 continues the series of role-playing games of the same name, where the plot centers on the confrontation between three factions. New characters appeared here, for example, Yue Qingshu, Xiuu, Sange of Miao, Baiboqing, belonging to the Xianxia sect, the demon lord Chunlou, and the witch Kuiyu. The role-playing game, created on the Unreal Engine 4 and based on Chinese mythology, has a dramatic narrative during which the user learns about the three inhabitants of the virtual Universe - demons, gods and humans. The action takes place in a dangerous world where people live in fear, because scary creatures wander everywhere. The last hope of humanity for salvation are the masters of the great schools of martial arts, who also struggle to defend themselves. The main character Yue Qingshu is a student of Mingshu, who one day came to her educational institution in the village of Pingxi and saw that the school was under siege by enemies. The girl quickly distracts the attention of the animals and takes them to a mountain valley to save people, but the animals catch up with her and the girl is saved by the stranger Shuu. Compared to its predecessors, the game has undergone significant changes, for example, a third-person option has appeared here, and the user will also have to participate in constant battles using an updated combat system, where battles take place in real time, and the hero is able to use heavy and light attacks, combined with each other. Characters have individual celestial techniques that are necessary for support or attack, for which the Spirit is spent. To restore it, special items and attacks are used. The hero is simultaneously capable of using up to four celestial techniques, as well as using dodges, rollbacks, and jumps during a fight.
