Description
The Censor puts the player in the shoes of Yuto Fujimoto, a recent college graduate. He is hired by Facibook, a large Internet corporation. There is a norm at work, and you have to fulfill it. Photos come with notes and tips. Photographs require decisions, and the story depends on them. The shift begins with checking mail and ends with a report.
The job seems normal: review content and make decisions. However, in the stream of digital waste, special photographs appear, and they become the tool of the hero. Special photographs open up new storylines. The shift lasts for hours, and fatigue accumulates. Conversations with colleagues provide clues. Pictures come in private messages. The censor's decisions have consequences in the story. Office life consists of reports and short breaks.
The censor's decisions affect the characters, the world around them, and the user community. Towards the end of the story, the choice becomes more difficult. Colleagues give advice, but not always disinterestedly. Pictures become the key to new events. A desk, coffee and reports create a clerk's everyday life. Fatigue from work affects the hero's choices. Every decision of the censor is visible in history. Each decision leaves a mark on the moderation system. The city lives its own life outside the office window.
The story is told through work shifts and conversations with colleagues. Management checks decisions randomly. A company's reputation depends on the decisions of its employees. Colleagues are working at neighboring tables.
For those who like stories about the cost of decisions, this game is suitable.
