The Chant

The Chant combines horror, adventure and action. The game has a third-person view. In it you need to monitor three character parameters: health, spirit and mind. These resources are allowed to be managed. For example, you can use meditation to strengthen your mind by expending spiritual energy. Using supernatural abilities and intangible weapons, you need to fight monsters. You can avoid some contractions if you wish. Also here you need to explore dark locations, find shortcuts, communicate with NPCs, do crafting and collect collectibles. The action takes place in an isolated area. The story tells how a group of people who decided to spend a quiet weekend had to face cosmic and psychedelic horror. The title title translates as Song. The plot tells the story of Jessica Briars. Due to serious problems in her life, she needed a retreat. Therefore, the heroine went to a seminar on spiritual growth, which took place on the island. By an unfortunate coincidence, a hippie commune disappeared in this place in the 1970s. The participants of the event decide to perform a ritual. By their actions, they accidentally open a portal to a parallel world called Darkness. This alternate dimension feeds on human negative emotions and creates monsters. So the main character and other survivors will have to literally face their own demons. Among the opponents there are also sectarians. The story is divided into a prologue and 7 chapters.
