The Long Dark

The Long Dark is eternal darkness in locations, excellent graphics from developers who love the sky and stars as their second home. Players were pleased that the entire gameplay is divided into two modes. The first is a story playthrough of 5 episodes, the total duration of which is 60-70 hours, depending on how the plot follows. The second mode is survival in an excellent open world, where you will have to monitor the contents of your backpack, check items, collect skins, fry meat, take refuge in shelters, arrange your own house or a small corner in a house for survivors, where the owner of this establishment will shelter you. The plot begins with our character, along with Dr. Astrida Greenwood, being separated after flying through the northern glaciers. Seeing a strong flash of light, the characters lost each other, and Will McKenzie (our playable character) began to look for Astrid. He stumbles upon the small town of Milton, where he realizes the full power of the impending disaster. The second episode reveals to us the character of the character and the additional hero - the trapper. The hero does not want to trust him, but in order to survive in these snowy valleys, he will have to believe the words of all the characters in the game. These episodes are introductory before the start of the survival mode, in which we will have to explore more than 50 kilometers of the game map. The player will have to monitor not only the level of health, thirst and need, but also the calories that are spent while searching for more than 100 items. Food, water, sources of light, fire, medicine and weapons - all this is scattered across the map in a chaotic order. Build traps, plan journeys, go on raids, hunt local fauna and build your own home. Survival is your main task, regardless of the difficulty level.
