Existing in this post-apocalyptic world requires a delicate balance between risky gathering materials and preparing the outpost for an imminent attack. Daylight hours are reserved for grueling descents into the bowels of the earth, where components for modernization are extracted using evolving tools. Converting primitive equipment into a planetary drill opens up access to rich deposits, providing a fortified perimeter. As darkness falls, the meditative excavations give way to a brutal confrontation with waves of mutants. Base defense relies on automated fire systems and tactical barriers to keep the enemy at bay.
