The simulation can withstand tens of thousands of soldiers at the same time, and then the field turns into a continuous mess of soldiers, equipment and debris. The battle can be started and stopped at any time, and the camera can be controlled at any speed to see the epicenter of the battle. The set of opponents is not limited to historical soldiers: knights, orcs, zombies, skeletons, animals and giant creatures easily find themselves in the same ranks. I’d like to see who would win in a fight between hundreds of chickens and one huge robot—please let the engine do the math. You can watch the battle from any point, including through the eyes of an individual fighter, and then the scale of the battle is felt completely differently. There are no rules or goals, so time passes unnoticed at such a training ground. Equipment often breaks down under the weight of its own army: thousands of units on one patch turn into a mess of debris and falling bodies.
