Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer's Legacy is a continuation of the famous indie roguelike, continuing the story of the previous game, but developing many new ideas. The lands of Dungeon of Doom are left behind and the hero sets off on a new journey through the open world, where the environment is randomly generated. The main goal is to find and destroy the magical Staff of Yendor. As you explore various biomes with picturesque landscapes, you will have to challenge many opponents and descend into dark and dangerous dungeons. This time there will be no dungeons and players will spend almost the entire playthrough in open spaces, exploring forests, valleys and mountains. The developers of Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer's Legacy tried to make each level unique to create the feeling that all the landscapes were created by hand, and not by an algorithm. Due to the large territory, a feeling of exploration and a real fantasy adventure is created. The gameplay is isometric action with RPG elements, offering a variety of combat tactics and various puzzle solutions. The gameplay requires you to constantly worry about your supplies. For example, does the hero have enough food and water with him, because he needs to overcome the desert, where there will be almost no resources, or will he be able to repel mystical creatures in the forest without magical items? The world is populated not only by hostile NPCs, but also by friendly characters with whom you can always talk and buy supplies. The environment influences the characters and the interactions between them. Also, the lives of other people will depend on the actions of the main character. For example, if you spare the wolves in the forest, they will definitely attack the village and the residents will have to leave it, etc. In the game world, trials and difficult moral choices await you at every step.
