Wolfenstein: The New Order

Wolfenstein: The New Order is a first-person shooter that tells an alternate history in which the Third Reich defeated the enemy and enslaved the entire world. Nazi Germany made incredible technological leaps, so the setting can be seen as retrofuturism with dystopian elements. The plot directly continues the story of the 2009 game. 1946 William "BJ" Blaskowitz suffers a serious head injury during the assault on Dr. Skull's fortress. He falls into the state of a vegetable for 14 long years. When he wakes up, he learns how the world has changed under the rule of the Nazis. The gameplay is an example of a classic hardcore FPS that will take the player through mountainous terrain, Nazi outposts, the depths of the sea, send him into space and place him in a combat robot! Unlike many games in this genre, Wolfenstein: The New Order is story and character oriented. At a certain point, the hero will have to make difficult decisions that will change the further development of the story and which characters will appear in the passage. All characters in the game have unique abilities, individual history and charisma. The game contains many references and allusions to the real world, but turns it inside out, showing what certain events would look like if the Third Reich came to power after World War II. Just look at the Nazi Beatles! BJ will have to learn about all the terrible experiments in the secret laboratories of the Skull, encounter super soldiers or panzerhunds - robot dogs. The game's soundtrack was composed by iconic Australian composer Mick Gordon with the participation of Frederik Thordendal from the Swedish math metal band Meshuggah.
