WORLD OF HORROR

WORLD OF HORROR is a role-playing adventure with turn-based combat in a roguelike style. The graphics are one-bit and are based on black and white. The authors drew inspiration from Junji Ito and Howard Phillips Lovecraft. The world with fantasy oddities lives its own life. Each race is built anew, and the order of events changes. The atmosphere is created by noise and pictures in two colors. The hero is mortal, and death ends the race. Each item on the table brings its own clue. There are five heroes to choose from, and each has different characteristics. The course of the investigation and what events await the player depend on the choice. The story is passed alone, moving towards the final scenes. Items and weapons appear in random places and require careful selection. Objects sometimes break and this adds tension. Contractions take place step by step and without a time limit. This allows you to think things through and choose the right move. Along the way, random encounters with monsters happen every now and then. The hero's health does not recover on its own, and treatment is not easy to find. Some scenes are presented through visions and dreams. Some enemies are afraid of light and objects with special properties. In addition to battles, there are puzzles built according to different principles. Nonlinearity promises that the paths of the two runs will be different. Each discovery adds its own detail to the picture of the world. The town, school and hospital serve as sites of investigation. Each chapter opens up a new corner of the city. The investigation is going on throughout the city from house to house. For those who love atmospheric horror, this game is suitable.
