XIII - Remake is a first-person shooter, updated based on the 2003 game. The source code was based on the first issues of the comic about a man with amnesia. The locations connect the city, the port and secret objects, and the transition between them is divided into short episodes. The plot is based on a conspiracy and crimes framed for the hero. This presentation makes the shootouts recognizable. You can take out enemies quietly with a knife or go straight ahead with a machine gun, and the second path is noticeably more fun in pace. Insets in the frame show the target and tell you where to wait for the enemy. Separate chapters allow you to manage equipment and underwater equipment. The plot plays with cliches and black humor. There are plenty of global conspiracy theories and dark jokes here. The enemies are easy to fight, but there are a lot of stories around them. Weapons range from a revolver to a crossbow, and each barrel has its own method of use in combat and in stealth. Cartoon violence does not cancel out scenes with machine guns and explosions. The investigation leads the hero from the coast to closed facilities. Each discovery adds a new detail to the mystery of the past. The hero is pursued by a secret organization, and his search for answers leads to people from his past and forgotten events. Enemies can be caught off guard and dropped with a single headshot. For those who love stylish action films, this game is suitable.
