Alan Wake

The main character of Alan Wake Alan is a recognized master of the thriller in the gaming universe. We understand this after going through several chapters where we are told in detail about its superiority. His life's goal is to write his own novel, but at one moment he notices that something strange is happening in the city at night, and later finds out that the events of his novel have become reality. The third-person shooter gives us a new journey into the world of daytime calm and night chaos. By killing monsters, we learn the true history of the city where Alan lives. A local journalist tells an old legend about a writer whose wife drowned in a lake. He dives to the very bottom to find it, and comprehends a black thinking substance that offers him a deal: he writes a story from dictation, thereby freeing matter from its imprisonment under water. In return, the entity returns the writer his wife. The game has several complex and intricate chapters in which we will not only have to unravel aspects of the plot, but also solve thriller and horror puzzles. The dark, gloomy atmosphere of the world is accompanied by a change in time of day. At night, the hero makes his way through the forests, walks through farms and abandoned houses, and during the day he visits cafes, restaurants and shops, communicates with people and finds out the real state of affairs. One of the gameplay features is light. Under the lantern, the monsters pursuing him lag behind the character, and with minimal lighting it is easier to kill them with the only weapon in the game - a pistol. Also, health is restored faster than usual if we are under the light of a lantern during the day or traveling around Bright Falls.
